Sixteen projects,documented in full.
One shipped product and the self-directed concept work around it. Each entry carries the brief, the decisions that shaped it, and what it delivered — the live build and the case study are both open to read.
Electrical test and tag runs on clipboards, hand-kept spreadsheets and memory. Test & Tag replaces that with an offline-first phone app for the technician, a console for the office and one API behind both.
A shipped React Native app for iOS, Android and the web, an installable admin console and a Fastify API with PDF reporting — covered by 190 passing tests, including a full workflow run over HTTP.
A presentation model of a modern two-storey house of the kind going up here now: two black board-clad volumes under a flat roof, the upper one thrown forward over the entrance front, a terrace over the garage, and a little garden.
A section you can walk around in either condition, with eighteen named parts, a movable sun and a lighting design you can switch on. Anyone who has driven through a new subdivision here recognises it without being told where it is.
A two-bedroom apartment on the 26th floor of a residential tower, walked in first person — keys to move, the mouse to look — at eye height and walking pace, so it feels the size it would be.
A 73 m² unit you can walk from the front door to every room, with a plan that follows you and the living room turned to the northern sun. Walking it moved the furniture: the first dining layout could not be walked past.
The studies before this one were generated outright. That approach breaks for a planet: no amount of noise will draw you Europe. This one takes two small pieces of public data — coastlines and a city list — and makes everything they touch.
A globe that reads as Earth from across a room and holds up when you drag it. The same module runs the case page and the homepage hero, where it is imported only once the hero is on screen and disposed when the page is hidden.
The brief pulled two ways: more industrial than the studies before it, and warmer. Most subjects make those fight each other, so the work began by choosing one where they never have — a watch movement, the densest precision engineering people still finish by hand.
Thirteen named parts, five jewels and a hundred and ninety engraved circles, generated in the browser with no model or image files. Hovering names a part and lifts it off the plate, and the index beside it marks the same row.
The reference was a still: a mineral body seen through thick glass, its edges broken into spectra, thin orbits passing in front and behind. A first pass produced it as an exported model — the shape survived the export, the light did not.
A showcase generated in the browser rather than shipped to it: no model files, no textures, no third-party scripts. It carries live art-direction controls, a lighter tier for phones, and a seed number that rebuilds the same specimen every time.
Maternity communities default to high-volume social mechanics. The concept had to hold long-form editorial and peer conversation without the pull of an endless feed.
A complete concept — feed, community rooms, editorial studio and events — in one design language, built from twelve component families over six weeks and ready to extend into a product build.
A hardware launch page has to carry industrial design, spec detail and motion in one view, then repeat across twelve regional markets without a rebuild.
Seventy-four components and eighteen scenes covering twelve markets, with the design and engineering stack documented as one delivery blueprint.
Luxury retail splits across editorial, commerce, concierge and aftercare, and each is usually designed by a different team in a different voice.
A sixty-four-component system covering the full maison journey, with editorial flow, commerce craft and client rituals documented as one blueprint.
High-value villa bookings rarely close in one session. Discovery, private enquiry and confirmation all needed to sit in a single flow.
Sixty-four screens mapping discovery through aftercare, with three retreat themes showing how the system absorbs different estates.
Destination sites sell the visit but leave planning to the visitor. The concept had to do both in one place.
A landing concept and a planning workspace that read as one product, with itinerary output as the page’s primary conversion.
Careers sites usually reduce to a job list. The brief was to make teams, mission and location the reason someone applies.
A careers experience where role search and employer storytelling occupy the same page without either being demoted to a footer link.
Northbridge publishes daily across AI, market structure and enterprise innovation. The hub had to absorb that volume without reading as a link dump.
A template that takes weekly publishing volume without redesign, now the pattern for the full insights programme, with one call to action placed after the reader has value.
Streaming homepages have to serve discovery and sign-up at once, and the two usually compete for the same screen.
A cinematic homepage concept delivered in six weeks as a UI system, motion tokens and content grid, with the sign-up path kept to one route.
Institutional finance sites bury conviction under boilerplate. The brief asked for the opposite: one confident statement, numbers stated plainly, leadership given a real voice.
A restrained editorial system that scales across What We Do, Strategies and Insights while staying unmistakably institutional — delivered in eight weeks as a landing concept, grid and UI kit.
Research tools tend to look like analytics dashboards. Fieldnote's users spend their day reading what customers said, so the product and site were designed to read like a well-edited magazine instead.
A marketing site and four product surfaces — record, transcribe, synthesise, share — in one warm editorial system, with every theme showing its evidence and every quote its timestamp.
Test & Tag is a shipped product. The others are concept projects designed in-house, not client engagements; their figures describe the delivered design system — components, screens and build duration — not commercial results.
Start with the two-week diagnostic.
A 60-minute review, then a fixed-fee fortnight. You leave with a costed roadmap and no obligation to continue.
